Susie Q Fudge & Gift began as a specialty food, confection and gift shop in the basement of 109 Mississaga St E (mariposa market) in downtown Orillia operating then as Apple Annie’s Shop. It was established in 1989 by Doreen Willsey and Nancy Willsey, mother and daughter. Second daughter/sister Susan Willsey joined a few years later.

Fresh Fudge, made on premises became our signature product and turned the Shop into a popular destination for locals and visitors alike.

The name change for the Shop happened in 2023 when Nancy retired and an offshoot of the original business – Apple Annie’s Café – was sold along with the Apple Annie’s name.

So – welcome to Susan’s “Susie Q Fudge & Gifts” – a new name but the same delicious and eclectic mix of goodies and gifts – and the same warm and friendly service!
